For this project, Alpine Larch timber cladding was selected to complement the architectural character of the building, combining the natural warmth and texture of larch with a refined, contemporary finish.
The cladding was finished with NatureSeal CU Light Grey, chosen to accelerate the weathering process and create a more uniform, naturally weathered appearance from the outset. Rather than waiting for the timber to weather naturally over time, the treatment helps establish a consistent silver-grey tone across the elevation while allowing the natural grain, texture and character of the larch to remain visible.
The result is a considered balance between the raw character of natural timber and a contemporary architectural aesthetic, with the cladding designed to evolve naturally as it weathers.
