a few FAQ’s
Why Feature Truss?
Yes, 9 out of 10 times we supply all trusses we manufacture in assembled kit form ready for you or your builder to assemble on site. Each connecting parts of the truss is individually marked, thus making assembly easier for you or your hired help. This can be particularly useful if your trusses are to be ‘feature’ trusses inside an existing roof.
Our standard lead times are 3 – 4 weeks for design and engineering (if required) then 4 weeks for manufacture. However, if you require the delivery earlier, it may be possible – please contact us to discuss. We always try and do our best to help our customers in the best way we can. Please note, No manufacturing to commence until our supplied detailed drawings are approved begin until you are completely satisfied with all sizes, dimensions and extras in which we will provide drawings for you to check
Of course, no job is too small or complicated for our design team and CNC machine
We deliver nationwide. It’s important you include the exact delivery location for your trusses as a haulage cost will be included in your quote. Please also let us know if site has access for an articulated lorry
We can offer you 4 different types of material (all of which we can manufacture and detail); Douglas Fir, Oak, Glulam, Softwood. Costs also come down to how much manufacturing is involved. We can supply all metal work, precision detail to your requirements and extras such as purlins. Please get in touch and if you have drawings that would be helpful
Probably the only type of building that opens itself up to allow the use of large scale feature trusses and exposed post and beam frames due to its vast open ceiling space. The value added to your property will sky rocket if a feature truss is used
Nothing adds Luxurious and grandeur your garden quite like a garden room designed with the addition of exposed timber, glazing and feature trusses. The elegance and beauty this will bring to your garden will have you spending the entire summer in your garden room. The garden room designs can range from conservatories or orangeries however it’s the roof structure which separates these two types of designs. We love to embark on a new challenge – therefore, if you want something different/your own design but need help on designs, contact us and our design team will help you make your garden room a reality
Porches are diverse in design meaning they’re are so many ways they can be shaped and formed. Whether its of something small, like a door canopy or small oak porch or something on an entirely larger scale for an entrance hall, with glazed walls, traditional framing and feature trusses to catch your guests’ eyes on arrival to your house. If you have any drawings or a rough sketch please do get in touch with our design team and we will go through your ideas.
